Dena Tyler is an American actress, writer and filmmaker whose career encompasses television, independent cinema and theatre. A Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio, Tyler trained in Neuroscience and Dramatic Arts at the University of Rochester before pursuing a career in performance. She is widely recognised for her recurring roles as attorney Liberty Davis on CBS's Bull and Claudia on Hulu's The Path, alongside appearances in Blue Bloods, Chicago Med, NCIS: New Orleans, Homeland, Orange Is the New Black, Instinct, The Deuce, 30 Rock and the Law & Order franchise. Her film credits include Park Avenue, opposite Fiona Shaw and Katherine Waterston, Lost Cos and We Could Carpool. Tyler has also expanded into directing, helming the short comedy The Talk, while her extensive theatre work includes performing opposite Ellen Burstyn in The Cherry Orchard. Her combination of screen, stage and filmmaking experience reflects a versatile career grounded in character-driven storytelling.
